KANSAS CITY, Mo. — With 15 years of proven success in business-to-business marketing in the healthcare and healthcare education industry, Dan Hughes, MBA, is the newest expert to join the Dobies Health Marketing team. As Director of Marketing Services, Dan works collaboratively with clients and the Dobies team to ensure seamless delivery of strategies and communications that drive results.

Dan’s career highlights include marketing leadership roles in medical publishing, medical device and physician association organizations. From competitive analysis, market segmentation and customer research to strategic planning, project management and product marketing, he is passionate about helping healthcare companies meet and exceed their goals.
In his previous roles, Dan worked closely with marketing agencies that supported their business and revenue growth efforts, giving him an in-depth understanding of agency operations and processes. Dan has an MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in government and international studies from Notre Dame. He attributes his study of political science to having laid the groundwork for professional soft skills like building trust, being persuasive and fostering consensus – three key ingredients to delivering great marketing results.
