Our healthcare marketing, branding and advertising firm in downtown Kansas City is seeking an exceptional Marketing Manager for its healthcare and hospital accounts. This integral position is responsible for overall client engagement and account management including planning, coordinating and directing highly integrated marketing and advertising initiatives for clients. The Marketing Manager collaborates in and supports the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for clients and ensures the professional and timely execution of those plans in collaboration with the firm’s communication and creative services teams.

This position is a member of the client services team reporting up to the Vice President of Client Services. Candidates should have 4-5 years’ experience facilitating integrated and multi-channel marketing campaigns in the health sector.

Primary areas of responsibility:   

  • Advise clients of their strategic marketing opportunities.
  • Lead client relationships, serving as the subject matter expert within the firm on behalf of key clients.
  • Ensure deliverables meet and exceed client expectations and stated marketing metrics.
  • Develop and implement marketing and positioning strategies, communication plans and programs.
  • Establish competitive market position, brand differentiation and awareness of the organization among target audiences (B2B and B2C).
  • Manage timely and on-budget execution of client deliverables to ensure their strategic objectives and goals are met.
  • Execute and implement client marketing plans in collaboration with content, creative and media teams.
  • Develop and assess creative concepts, alignment to strategy, creative campaigns, campaign ROI, and measure/monitor client budgets, job profitability and defined key performance indicators.

Our healthcare marketing, branding and advertising firm located at Crown Center in the heart of Hospital Hill is seeking a talented Marketing Specialist with a diverse set of skills. This position is responsible for multiple aspects of coordinating highly integrated marketing projects for our clients and our firm.

Success in this position requires proactive collaboration with creative, content, media, production and client services teams to support, manage and accelerate multiple concurrent projects. It requires strengths in critical thinking, project management, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail. This position reports to the Strategic Marketing Manager/Director.

Primary areas of responsibility:

Marketing Coordination

  • Support and coordinate project work – including complex and highly integrated campaign/communication materials – with the goal of completing milestones and deliverables on time, on strategy, and within budget and scope.
  • Coordinate and deliver integrated marketing tactics (print, media, organic and paid digital media, email campaigns, web development projects, etc.)
  • Maintain client and agency production, paid media, social media and/or creative calendars.
  • Assist in coordinating workflow and workload for the creative services team to efficiently meet client needs.
  • Monitor the tactical production process and adjust project coordination to optimize productivity.
  • Provide project support to senior leadership as needed.

Client Services Coordination

  • Take initiative in learning/understanding each client’s products and services, culture/ethos and strategic marketing and positioning strategy.
  • Support tactical work needed to achieve client goals and defined strategy.
  • Communicate status and next steps and solicit client approvals as directed by client lead.
  • Develop knowledge of client projects, timelines, budgets, strategy, etc., to serve as secondary support for assigned clients.
  • Provide client support to senior leadership as needed.

Kansas City-based healthcare marketing firm is seeking a Senior Media Planner to oversee regional and national hospital and healthcare client media strategies. The Senior Media Planner is responsible for leading and managing workflow processes for paid advertising, including but not limited to programmatic digital, social media, PPC/print /radio/tv/out-of-home, and more. With deep expertise in healthcare, you can quickly grow into an Associate Director position.

The Senior Media Planner works closely with client services, creative services, accounting, and our national buying partners to deliver highly effective media plans for our clients. This position oversees media workflow – from media strategy and plan development to launching media plans, distributing approved media assets, providing ongoing media management and optimization, and tracking/reporting in conjunction with other data and digital marketing team members.

Success in this position requires a deep understanding of healthcare advertising and the ability to identify media opportunities to optimize targeting and reach across multiple channels to maximize awareness, sales, patient acquisition, and other KPIs. The right candidate will research trends in media, effective advertising design, and continually identify opportunities to stay ahead of regulatory changes related to privacy and HIPAA compliance.

  • Maintain all active media plans, media authorizations, calendars, insertion orders, change orders, and tracking/reporting documentation for all media clients.
  • Monitor media portals and reconcile weekly supporting approved/active media plans.
  • Oversee the accurate input current and approved media plans into agency software system while supporting media billing/invoicing of clients based on agreements, insertion orders.

Dobies Health Marketing, a strategy-focused healthcare marketing and branding firm located at Crown Center in the heart of Hospital Hill, is seeking a Website Specialist with a passion for website management, design, maintenance and creating properties that drives traffic, leads and conversions. This position is responsible for overall project management, as well as building, formatting, updating and optimizing web pages in WordPress for our clients and our firm.

The Website Specialist works with our internal teams to manage the Discovery, Design and Develop phases of website creation to assure they align with client requirements. A critical component, the position creates pages within established WordPress templates and assorted visual/content elements to make design and copy come to life for the best user experience. The ideal candidate will be creative, efficient, and detail oriented – a natural problem-solver and someone with wide-ranging skill sets that support UX excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management oversight, with an emphasis on the Discovery, Design and Develop phases
  • Building web pages to align with design and content direction

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing multiple websites simultaneously
  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress and HTML; experience and familiarity with the WordPress Enfold theme is a plus
  • Experience partnering/collaborating with web designers and writers for clear, cohesive final page content
  • Proficiency in the Google Docs Suite and other Workspace tools, as well as select Adobe Creative Suite applications (see above) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management, troubleshooting and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of other web content management systems preferred but not required
  • Proven experience applying best practices for UX excellence
  • Experience with tracking code installation (Google Tag Manager, placing pixels, setting up UTM codes, etc.)
