Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant – Part-time
Looking for the perfect part-time position where you can exercise your bookkeeping and administrative skills while supporting a mission that calls you to help improve the way people make healthcare decisions? Look no further. Dobies Health Marketing, located in downtown Kansas City, has an immediate opening for a part-time bookkeeper and office assistant.
This could be the perfect position if you:
- want to work approximately 20 hours a week
- have at least three (3) years of active accounting experience, with proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking and credit card reconciliations
- seek flexibility in balancing work and family obligations
- are skilled in MS Office 365 and various accounting packages
- like a mix of accounting and office management/ administrative duties
- enjoy competitive part-time pay rate of $18 – $22/hour depending upon experience

Graphic Designer
Ready to put your design skills to work to make a difference in how people think about health? Dobies Health Marketing, a well-established, strategy-focused healthcare marketing and branding firm in downtown Kansas City, is seeking a Graphic Designer to support creative direction, design, development and production of client advertising campaigns and marketing materials. The Graphic Designer collaborates with design, content and client services teams to produce compelling integrated campaigns, websites and digital advertising. The Graphic Designer reports to the Art Director.

Graphic Designer Tasks:
- Executes and supervises numerous projects, activities and deadlines simultaneously

- Obtains detailed estimates from a variety of vendors and prepares project estimates

Qualifications:
- BFA/BA/BS degree with 5 years’ creative shop experience; healthcare/medical experience preferred
- Exceptional graphic design, art direction, creative direction skills
- Experience in print, web and digital design and the production process for each
- Thrives in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment and has a proven ability to manage multiple projects while meeting budget and deadline expectations
- Highly efficient with the latest Adobe Creative Suite software, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Experience in video/TV concepting development, storyboarding, and production
- Thorough familiarity and competency with presentation software

Website Specialist
Dobies Health Marketing, a strategy-focused healthcare marketing and branding firm in downtown Kansas City, is seeking a Website Specialist with a passion for website management, design, maintenance and creating properties that drives traffic, leads and conversions. This position is responsible for overall project management, as well as building, formatting, updating and optimizing web pages in WordPress for our clients and our firm.
The Website Specialist works with our internal teams to manage the Discovery, Design and Develop phases of website creation to assure they align with client requirements. A critical component, the position creates pages within established WordPress templates and assorted visual/content elements to make design and copy come to life for the best user experience. The ideal candidate will be creative, efficient, and detail oriented – a natural problem-solver and someone with wide-ranging skill sets that support UX excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Project management oversight, with an emphasis on the Discovery, Design and Develop phases
- Building web pages to align with design and content direction
- Proactively collaborating with design, content and account team members as needed to troubleshoot issues, flow, appearance and readability of web content (including but not limited to copy, images, calls-to-action, navigation and formatting)
- Ensure web pages display optimally on all screen sizes
- Actively participate in web team status meetings
- Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
- Identify and use the correct tools, resources and team members to answer questions and find solutions
- Demonstrate self-sufficiency as needed to ensure quality work is delivered on time and on budget
- Review all work, checking links, metadata, etc. for quality assurance
- Other tasks as required for page/post creation and upkeep
Essential Skills Required:
- Proven experience working in WordPress for page builds
- Ability to work with graphic design and excel at technical implementation
- Experience with cross-browser/platform responsiveness and mobile web UX
- Understanding good design aesthetics and functionality for web platforms
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Proficient in website and image optimization techniques

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing multiple websites simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of WordPress and HTML; experience and familiarity with the WordPress Enfold theme is a plus
- Experience partnering/collaborating with web designers and writers for clear, cohesive final page content
- Proficiency in the Google Docs Suite and other Workspace tools, as well as select Adobe Creative Suite applications (see above) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization, time management, troubleshooting and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of other web content management systems preferred but not required

Media Buyer
Our healthcare marketing, branding and advertising firm in downtown Kansas City is seeking a talented Media Buyer. This position is responsible for multiple aspects of managing and coordinating integrated media plans for our clients and our firm.
The Media Buyer is a key member of the media team working closely with client services, creative services, and accounting to deliver highly effective media plans for our clients. This position will contribute heavily to coordinating media plan development, assisting in launching media plans, coordinating the distributions of approved media assets, providing ongoing media management, and coordinating tracking/reporting.
Success in this position requires proactive collaboration with internal teams, strengths in critical thinking, project management, written and verbal communication, and exceptional attention to detail. The right candidate will show an enthusiastically positive attitude for making sure work is error-free, on time and on budget.
This position reports to the Vice President of Media & Creative Services.
Primary areas of responsibility:
- Collaborate with the media team and partners to plan, buy, and execute media strategies via multiple traditional, non-traditional, digital and programmatic media platforms.
- Coordinate the delivery of creative assets to media partners on time, to specs provided, including the assignment of tracking tools (UTM codes, pixel placements, landing page URLs, et. al.), as needed.
- Take initiative in learning/understanding each media client’s products and services, strategic approach and positioning strategy and translating understanding into media efforts designed to achieve their goals.
- Maintain all active media plans, media authorizations, calendars, insertion orders, change orders, and tracking/reporting documentation for all media clients. Maintain an ongoing report of monthly media buying (per approved plans) versus actual through billing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams (client services, creative services and media), clients, and media vendors and partners.
- Provide support to senior leadership, as needed.

Marketing Manager – Healthcare
Our healthcare marketing, branding and advertising firm in downtown Kansas City is seeking an exceptional Marketing Manager for its healthcare and hospital accounts. This integral position is responsible for overall client engagement and account management including planning, coordinating and directing highly integrated marketing and advertising initiatives for clients.
