KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Following another year of healthy growth – an average per year growth of 30%, Dobies Health Marketing is starting the new year by expanding its client services team. This month, two new team members joined the strategy-first healthcare marketing firm: Tristan Carter as Marketing Manager and Jessica Lahasky as Marketing Specialist. The company also added a new health data strategy manager and senior media manager in January.
“Tristan and Jessica each bring unique, valuable skills to our organization that put the evolving needs of our healthcare clients front and center,” said Angie Schwartz, Vice President of Client Services. “We’re excited for their contributions to our growing client services team.”
As Marketing Manager, Tristan Carter plans and manages integrated marketing communications and advertising strategies for clients. She leads client relationships, primarily working with hospital and health system clients. In collaboration with the firm’s strategists, Tristan advises clients on effective marketing and brand strategies and supporting tactics. She helps define performance metrics and ensures our teams exceed client expectations on timing, budget and results. She also supports dhmstudio+, a unique service line from Dobies Health Marketing that supports rural and critical access hospitals in their marketing efforts.
With a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications plus 10+ years’ experience managing marketing and client service activities, Tristan’s expertise aligns closely with the firm’s needs and capabilities.

Jessica Lahasky is the firm’s newest Marketing Specialist. In this role, she collaborates closely with creative, content, media, production and client services teams to support workflow and outputs for client marketing, branding and advertising projects. She coordinates project work, maintains timelines and delivers assets for production, paid media, organic social and highly integrated creative campaigns.
With a master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders, a bachelor’s in music therapy, and previous professional experience that includes SEO, digital content development, social media management and more, Jessica says her passion for creativity and helping others brought her to a career in healthcare marketing.
“From a young age, I knew I wanted to be involved in the healthcare industry and help people,” said Jessica. “Being able to combine my communication skills and creativity with my desire to empower patients and consumers is exactly where I want to be.
